Airspace is Duxford′s multi-million pound exhibition of British and Commonwealth aviation. The Exhibition Gallery is a fun and interactive space designed to attract families, educational groups and others.

A crucial aspect of the contract was to deliver a durable and resilient set of displays. The exhibition design required manufacture of irregular shaped units in diverse materials. ‘Kit-like’ production drawings were created which enabled the client to see the realisation of their creative concept design. The unusual parts and components were produced directly from the drawings by our CNC department, with other elements manufactured by our specialist plasma cutting stainless steel supplier.

(The museum also used the production drawings to communicate with their other specialist suppliers, like AV installers - enabling them to confidently pre-plan their work).
